When is water more than just something to drink? When it’s one of Evian’s annual collectible designer bottles filled with water by Evian. Then, it’s a fancy gift for a gourmet, or an easy, affordable accent on your holiday table.

The tradition of offering consumers re-useable bottles created by talented, well-known designers started in 2007, with a bottle by Christian Lacroix, followed by a bottle in 2008 by Jean Paul Gaultier. This year’s 2009 bottle is a cheerful design featuring parti-colored “streamers” created by designer Paul Smith. This “Prêt-à-Porter” 2010 Limited Edition bottle is all about a “youthful spirit.”
Smith, known for his sense of fun and optimistic attitude, insists that “‘Youth is not just a question of age, it’s a question of attitude’ as reflected in this limited edition project.” With this in mind, the British designer made the elegantly -shaped, clear, glass Evian bottle look like a party! It has vibrant colors (printed with organic ink), which nicely emphasizes the purity of the natural spring water from the French Alps.
A 750ml bottle is $13.95 (also available in case quantities of 12 bottles for $118.00). Visit the Evian Online Store to get more information, and to order.
