Coconut not only tastes delicious, it’s a treat for you skin, too. A few months ago, I was excited to review a a Body Butter by Perlier (one of my favorite bath & body lines), called Thai Coco. This rich body butter features 100% concentrate of organic coconut, veggie butters, and oils, and smooth it onto your skin (best on damp skin after bathing), wherever it is dry. It’s also great for after sun bathing (although I don’t suggest baking in the sun if you want healthy, youthful skin). The cream is very emollient, and takes a moment (but just a moment) to soak in.

Now it’s Summer. For many, the smell of rich coconut is synonymous with warm ,sunny days. A graceful, frosted plastic, flip-top container with lime green cap, makes it pretty in your shower or bath.
The Hand Cream ($15.003.3 fl. oz) comes in a flip top tube, and also has similar, skin-moisturizing benefits. The only thing that could improve it is the presentation. A flip top or squeeze tube would be easier to handle. The screw-on cap needs two hands to close the cap with more slippery, newly-moisturized hands. But the hand cream will soften, soothe and silken, without leaving your hands so greasy you can’t manage the task.
Perlier is known for natural products, but this Thai Coco line is so pure it comes with a warning that it is: “not a food product.” Good body products really make your day, your week, your month and even your year, just a little nicer — and I can’t think of many more product lines nicer than Perlier!
