Fragrance lovers know that when something unique arrives in the marketplace, it’s time to jump on it. Pour Le Monde fragrances will definitely excite lovers of the beautiful and the unique. They’re special, not just because they are all natural perfumes but also because each of the three fragrances currently available is tied to a worthy non profit. The founders wanted to create chemical-free, non-toxic perfumes and since they are socially responsible, they called the company: ” Pour le Monde” which means for the world, Pour le Monde is currently only one of two companies with fragrances certified by the Natural Products Association –and they’ll be partnering with even more charities so stay tuned for future launches.
This being said, I generally don’t review fragrances from tiny samples, because I really don’t think that’s enough to truly experience the fragrance and report on it thoroughly. Now and then, however, with my arms twisted I agree. With just a bit of a quick sniff, here’s a bit about these fragrances. The thing I can say with absolutely certainty is that those who are longing for natural fragrance will be delighted. These are 100% natural fragrance made from essential oils and natural isolates with Natural Grain alcohol and Distilled water. What isn’t in them includes: Petrochemicals, Phthalates, Artificial Dyes of any kind, Propylene Glycol, Synthetic Alcohol, Mineral Oil, Parabens, Chemical Sunscreens, Formaldehyde or sulfates. The fragrances are also recognized by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics for being animal cruelty free, plus Peta, Leaping Bunny, and the Forest Stewardship Council.
Empower is a crisp, sparkling citrus perfume with top notes of grapefruit, lemon, and mandarin interspersed with an herbaceous mix of spearmint, lemongrass and basil and a drydown of subtle woods. 10% of the net sale of EMPOWER will benefit Guiding Eyes for the Blind, whose mission is to provide guide dogs to the blind, visually impaired and children with autism, so that they can function with greater dignity and independence.
Envision is a lavender based fragrance that has top notes blended with Italian bergamot and pink peppercorn and touches of Brazilian orange and Persian lime. The aromatic base notes of patchouli, mixed woods and pure Madagascar vanilla make ENVISION sensual and a bit gourmand. Very yummy scent, and 10% of the net sale of ENVISION benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
For those who like romantic fragrances, you can’t go wrong with Together. This fragrance is soft and yet has top notes of fruits, plus f freesia, jasmine and violet isolates and also some woodsy back notes to tenper it and make it modern. For those who like romantic fragrances like Together, you’ll be glad to know that 10% of the net sale of this fragrance benefits the Cancer Support Community (So that no one faces cancer alone ®).
The Advice Sisters realize that at $95.00 for 1.7 fl. oz. of natural eau de parfum, the fragrances are a bit of splurge for some. The full sized bottles are a fabulous gift for anyone as well, and especially those who are socially/eco/natural products-conscious . They are available in simple glass bottles and can be found at www.pimparfums.com and learn more at: http://www.pourlemondeparfums.com However, if you want to try before you plunk down$95.00 there is a sampler package of all three fragrances for just $18.00 which would also make a great stocking stuffer for the holidays. You’ll get small vials of all three (3) of Pour le Monde’s perfumes. Placed in a 100% natural cotton satchel, each vial contains over 1 ml of eau de parfum.
Of course,
This is one of the best reviews I’ve read. Honestly, what I love about this perfume is how its creators use environment-friendly ingredients. More products should be like this!
