I’ve just been through Hurricane IAN. I’ll probably blog about it once I get things sorted out again. No worries, I’m fine and so is my family, But I definitely don’t want to go through this again! I’ve been dealing with eye issues, and naturally, some anxiety. So in today’s review, I’m including two products that really helped me. One is You & Eye by Dr. Nicky and the other is Anxiety Aide which was created by Cheryl Accardi. These two products are winners!
Winners: You & Eye:
Like many people, I have dry eyes. But more recently, I also developed a case of inflamed lashes and lids. Without thinking, I used some eye products that were past their prime. That was all I needed to get all sorts of eye issues. Fortunately, I had access to eye cleansers. And I should have known better. If you have eye makeup that is old, ditching it is better than suffering from eye inflammation issues.
One way to ensure you don’t get eye problems is to keep your eyelids and lashes very clean. This is especially true if you wear a lot of eye makeup or faux lashes. You may think you’re removing all the dirt and debris, but you could be leaving just enough behind to irritate your eyes.
You & Eye by Ophthalmologist Dr. Nicky is a family-owned, skincare and lash care brand and one of those unsung winners! The products soothe dry, sensitive eyes by hydrating, nourishing, and cleansing the lids and lashes. I tried the Keep it Fresh Foaming Cleanser. I like this because it is a multi-tasker for the eyes and face. It has a bit of a funky scent, but this product cleanses, purifies, and even helps to reduce blackheads on your lids, lashes, and skin.
I really like the foaming pump cleanser with some interesting ingredients. There is the “EyeMEDIx Technology” (super antioxidant and sulfonated shale oil complex designed to relieve redness, itching, and discomfort due to dryness and clogged pores). It also has antioxidant Vitamin E and Green Tea extract plus a “Micellar Omega 3, 9 Complex.”
The complex provides anti-oxidants to smooth your skin and calm redness & sensitivity. So as long as you are going to wash your face (you do, don’t you)? use Keep It Fresh and be confident that your eyes are as clean and nourished as your face. There is a Soothe Operator Eye Serum and a Lash Enhancing Serum as well. All three products in Dr. Nicky’s collection are all under $35. Visit https://youandeyecosmetics.com/
Winners: Anxiety Aide:
It’s been a stressful Summer. So when I attended a virtual Alyson Dutch event, I discovered Anxiety Aide. You might never guess that the effervescent and charming Cheryl Accardi of Anxiety Aide began having panic attacks and severe anxiety when she was just 19. When her children began to have anxiety attacks as well, she had to find a solution.
So Cheryl created a mix of natural ingredients that could help calm you but not leave you feeling groggy. Since she was making this initially for her children, it had to be a decent tasking liquid. Cheryl worked with doctors, chemists, and formulators to get it just right. Therefore I’m calling it one of the winners!
What’s In It?
The product line of 2 oz. liquids in amber bottles are Anxiety Aide, Anxiety Aide +CBD, and Anxiety Aide PM. Anxiety Aide has natural ingredients, including lavender, chamomile, and GABA (which reduces nerve excitability), just to name a few. Anxiety Aide +CBD and Anxiety Aide PM have hemp-derived CBD. The flavors are natural peach and mango, and natural stevia makes them sweet. Half a bottle helps you deal with whatever is making you feel anxious.
Our Test:
I gave these products to my overly anxious tester. He liked that the products are Gluten-free, Sugar-Free, and Vegan and commented that the taste was “fine.” If you are someone who can’t fall asleep due to anxiety, or you are worried about a product being due, or about traveling, or just about anything else, Anxiety Aide might just get discreetly get you through it. If you want to try all three products, the Variety Pack is $17. A pack of two of the same type ranges from $7-$12. There are packs of 6 and 12 as well. I also like that Anxiety Aide donates 10% of net proceeds to mental health and suicide prevention charities. For more information visit https://anxietyaide.com/
