When your hair looks dry, it doesn’t matter how you style it, you can’t look amazing. Hair that’s damaged and/or dry needs deep conditioning, but you don’t have to spend a fortune to find good products to help hydrate and repair it. John Frieda has added a nifty new product to the John Frieda Full Repair collection that (for just $9.99 4 fl. oz. ) will turn your “straw” back into something more like “silk.”
The thing that I makes deep conditioning so challenging is that one it fixes one problem (e.g. dry, damaged hair) it often causes another — limp, greasy hair that won’t hold a style and that makes you want to wash your hair almost the moment you’ve deep conditioned it and styled it. but this new John Frieda Full Repair Hydrate + Rescue Deep Conditioner has Inca Inchi Oil, that improes the look and feel of hair after just one use, and so you can go about your day without stress. My hair was soft and shiny, not limp and greasy, thaks to the omega-3 rich Inca Inchi Oil. The oil is extracted from the flesh and seeds of the fruit of a tree native to the area surrounding the Amazon River. The very high content of the omega-3 fatty acid (50%) makes it comparable to flaxseed oil. The product penetrates dry, damaged and broken strands to deeply penetrate and John Frieda claims that patented technology strengthens hair fro the inside. It’s also safe for color-treated and chemically-treated hair.
The red, flip-top tube with clear top dispenses a silky, slightly fruity-scented gel that washes out easily leaving no residue, just a bit of “slip” on your hair so you know your hair has been hydrated and protected. You can see feel the difference immediately, and see it when you blow dry. John Frieda’s Hair Care International Consultant Harry Josh suggests that you use this new product once a week for deep conditioning. Shampoo with John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo, then apply the Hydrate + Rescue Deep Conditioner and leave on 2-5 minutes. Rinse well and style as usual. It adds softness and shine and it is a good detangler, too. Sounds like a good plan!
Tip: if your hair is feeling very dry, wrap your hair in a hot towel after saturating your hair with Hydrate + Rescue Deep Conditioner then rinse it out and style as usual.
