A Reveiw of REVIV3 ProCare for Hair That Renews Your Scalp, Saves Your Hair

November 2, 2016 By: Alison Blackman

my hair from the back

Great-looking hair is what most people want, but it’s even more important to keep your hair on your head!   There are many reasons why someone might start to see more hair in the drain than usual. It doesn’t always mean that it’s time to panic, but it might be an indication that you need to take better care of not just of the hair, but also of your scalp.

reviv3-procare

REVIV3 ProCare was developed by an executive from Nioxin (a line of products that helps thicken hair and enhance hair growth).  Those products have been around for a while, but REVIV3 Procare is new, and the company claims that it is even more advanced, incorporating many more natural and herbal ingredients.

The company also claims that like Nioxin, REVIV3 ProCare is clinically proven to grow hair faster and thicker and works by restoring the health of the scalp.  Revive Procare removes DHT laden sebum, the leading cause of hair loss.

Our samples arrived, impressively boxed with a lot of information and a large poster that demonstrated the various products and they work, from Cleansing to Conditioning to Treatment.  We tried them and here’s what we found:

What is REVIV3 Pro Care?

The company toutsREVIV Pro Care as products to make your scalp healthier. By using them you provide a better environment for hair growth. The products are also meant to help deal with hair loss because a healthy scalp is the key to increasing hair volume, moisture.

This is essential for people who have thinning hair issue but it’s also important to maintain a healthy environment for everyone’s hair and scalp., but of course, it’s important for everyone.  moisture for people with thn=inning hair.     There are three core products: Prep. There are three core products of REVIV3Pro Care which you can purchase separately, or in a set:

reviv3-procare

Prep:

A sulfate-free shampoo that is gentle and made with natural gylycoprotein and specialized nutrients. The Shampoo in a flip top tube is a pleasant one. There’s nothing “medicinal” about it. It lathers nicely, washes out cleanly, and left hair soft and shiny. We really liked the shampoo that not only protects against damage from chemical residue and boosts the volume, but also p[rotects color vibrancy and reduces color loss.

Prime:

A Moisturizing Conditioner with glycoproteins and Phytoextracts to increase hair volume and hair strength. The conditioner has olive leaf extract and those glycoproteins to help moisturize hair and keep it shiny and fight frizz. It also works with shampoo to increase hair strength, restore the scalp to a healthy condition, repair damaged hair cuticles,  reduce breakage, increase volume, protect color, and moisturize while reducing irritation on the scalp.

Both of these products also help with UV protection. If you didn’t know that these were meant to help with hair and scalp issues, you would just think they were high end, luxury hair products.

Treatment:

This is where the product gets its one-two-three punch! Treat is a treatment product with a micro-activ3 advanced tri-peptide complex. It claims a state-of-the-art nutrient delivery system. This one arrives in a pump bottle. Treat is a leave-in treatment specifically meant for fine and chemically treated hair that is normal to thin. It helps get rid of build-up on the scalp (like an exfoliation product would work on your face) and has a time-released delivery system of botanicals and nutrients to help ward off an additional build-up of DHT and

One thing to note is that this product warns: “may cause temporary redness” which makes us suggest you try a patch test before using this all over your head, especially if your skin is sensitive.

Do the products work?

This is much more difficult for us to say. From what we can read and understand, it appears that you’d have a good chance of getting your hair and scalp healthy with these, but it also depends upon the causes of your hair issues.  The recommendation is to use the products for a month to see real results, but we did like the way our hair and scalp felt after a few uses.

The recommendation is to use the products for a month to see real results. On normal hair, we liked the way our hair and scalp felt healthy and less itchy, just after a few uses.

The one thing we can’t do is verify about REVIV3Pro Care is all the ingredients and their efficacy. The anti-aging, sulfate-free. drug-free, paraben-free, alcohol-free. sodium benzoate-free sodium-chloride-free approach to hair and scalp health is a good one. Furthermore, the company doesn’t test on animals. That is all a plus.

We noted that these are not fragrance-free, so if that’s a concern, you need to look at the full ingredient list. We’d love to include it but these are long and complicated and difficult to read.  We don’t claim to be chemists. We suggest that you check with your dermatologist.

Revive Pro Care The bottom line:

Thinning hair or hair loss can cause all sorts of emotional issues. It isn’t anything you should ignore.  If this is something you’ve been experiencing, the first thing to do is to consult a dermatologist. S/he can determine whether the problem is hormonal, hereditary, medical, or something else. But if your hair and scalp are not healthy REVIV3 ProCare might be the thing that help make it better.

The price for REVIV3Pro Care isn’t inexpensive. a 30-day trial kit is of REVIV3Pro Care is offered at $59.95. A full-sized kit 60-day supply plus a bonus item is  $99.95.  But being able to hold on to your hair? That could be priceless!
