Some things are just too pretty to believe! And when they turn out to be super affordable, they’re a true “find.” For example, the Royal Apothic Conservatory collection. You can just tell from the photo above how pretty (and romantic) they are, and they look even better in person! You can find them in Anthropologie stores and online. The Royal Apothic Conservatory collection features four beautiful floral scents:
Hot House Peony is a refreshing, feminine floral with a heart of white lily, lilac, rose, cyclamen and violet with a hint of sandalwood
English Rose: features bergamot, crisp grapefruit and English rose petals with hints of peony and geranium rounded out by vanilla orchid
Plains of Thistle: has crisp lemon and mint julep layered over white pepper, peony, hyacinth and a base of cedar and labdanum
The one I tried Noble Carnation: is much more fruit forward than spicy carnation. It’s a mix of tart currant with clove, cedar and sandalwood notes to create a fresh, modern scent. I am not sure why it is called carnation since it doesn’t appear to have a single bit of carnation essence in it, but the look is lovely both in the candle, and in the Royal Apothic Conservatory Collection Eau de Parfum ($55.00 3.4 fl. oz.). The Eau de Parfum arrives in an impressive, velvet-lined wooden box with fancy wrap around band featuring a frilly white label and gold lettering. At just $55.00 it’s beautiful inside and out. You’ll keep the bottle once you’ve used up the fragrance, to stash one tiny blossom, or maybe a feather or something decorative.
Obviously Anthropologie has tons of holiday and special gifts in every category to delight the women in your life, but pick up a few things for yourself, as well. Perhaps this affordable and very impressive, beautifully presented Royal Apothic Conservatory Collection Candle. The large candle in a press glass votive ($26.00) makes an impressive gift or a little treat for you. The soy blend wax candle has a 60 hour burn time, and holds 12 oz. of nicely scented wax that is tinted from ivory to light carnation, bottom to top. Speaking of which, the white resin topper is too pretty to toss when the candle is finished. Glue a thin velvet ribbon onto the back and hang it somewhere special.
