a sampling of Summer 2015 Nail Polishes from SinfulColors (Clockwise): Paste-Erd Matte Grattiti Glitter; Baila Baila Confetti Glitter, Mamasita Confetti Glitter, HOT Spot Shimmering Cobalt Blue, Color Tag Matte Graffiti Glitter, Star Blast Off Glitter Topper, Fierce Fiesta Confetti Glitter

While the look is fairly subtle on your hands if you use just one or two coats, I used three here over a white base, to really show off the confetti in these overlays
When I think of Summer makeup and nail polish, I think FUN! These are the months to kick back and be casual, relax, and most of all, have fun both day and night. So when I was send a sampling of SinfulColors’ Summer 2015 nail polishes, especially the new Glitter and Confetti overlays, I couldn’t wait to try them and see how they really look. Overlay nail polish gives you the chance to wear a bit of “nail art” almost effortlessly. These top coats can be worn on bare nails, but look better with a base coat to bring out the bits and pieces in the top coats. The best thing about the ones from SinfulColors is that there are a wide range of them, and they do same thing the pricier brands do — but for less than $2.00!
I’ve included a rundown of all the newest of the new SinfulColors collections for Summer 2015, but as you’re getting ready for July 4th, consider Star Blast Off as a top coat on a read, white or blue nail. It’s a top coat infused with rd white and blue bits of confetti, but it also has a universe of white stars! Alas, if you really want those little white stars on every nail, you might have to get a toothpick and pull them out one at a time. The thing about over coats like these is that each brush brings different bits and pieces. Some nails may have more color bits, some less. It actually takes a bit of practice to figure out just how much you need if you want your nails to look somewhat uniform in coverage. But that’s not really the point of these…just slip a coat or two on, and enjoy looking at what’s been deposited, like seashells randomly strewn by the waves onto the sand.
These seven shades are SinfulColor’s most “patriotic” for a stylish July 4th holiday! Blue By You: Pearlescent royal blue; Green Ocean: Glitter-flecked emerald; Hot Spot: Shimmering cobalt blue; Out Of This World: Perfect silver with swirls of glimmer;Ruby Ruby: A classic deep red; Snow Me White: Bright white GLITTER TOPPER: Star Blast-Off: Star-spangled red, white, & blue confetti
BUT THERE’S MORE! This summer, SinfulColors is adding 29 hues that reflect the vibrant and eclectic chaos from around the world from creams to neons. At $1.99 each who can resist buying a bunch?!! AND DON’T FORGET ABOUT THE FABULOUS OVERLAY TOP COATS! Some are great for nail art, some just perfect, as-is — you’ll be inspired!
