Businesses will re-open again, but until then we are seeking new ways to maintain a beauty routine and pamper ourselves. I’ve come across a portable way to hydrate from Mineral Air skin, plus a potpourri of skincare masks from nügg and Masque Bar. These skincare helpers make each day, a little better, brighter and more beautiful!
Mineral Air Skin Renewal System:
Mineral Air is known for makeup you mist on your face, making your look airbrushed. But now they’ve launched the Mineral Air Skin Renewal Serum Airmist Device System. This clever device plus is fun and exciting!
Hydrating your skin on the go can be a challenge, however, the Mineral Air Skin Renewal Serum System is an elegant and easy way to hydrate your skin. The 4 1/2″ AirMist device dispenses a touch-less mist of serum to your skin. It’s also purse-friendly and portable.
After charging the AirMist device with the included USB, pull off the top and fill it with serum. Slide open the top and the little round opening dispenses a super fine mist. You can see the mist in my photo.
You may just enjoy the pleasant mist but there is a powerhouse cocktail of clean beauty vegan ingredients in the serum.
Key Ingredients:
Some of the key skin-loving benefits are from apple stem cells that help renew, white aloe vera leaf extract and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid to moisturize. Add in brightening ingredients such as Vitamin B3 and Vitamin C. Sea Salt and Seaweed extract balance the skin.
I was impressed, really and truly. But even better, this light serum mist has no parabens, mineral oil, talc, PEG-BHT/BHA, alcohol, phthalates, gluten, synthetic dyes or fragrance, petroleum-based surfactants.
Tips:
Mineral Air Skin also suggests using the mist as a night-time treatment, during jet travel, for razor burn, and to help aid facial treatment recovery (I would ask your doctor first).

Mask Those Skin Issues:
If you read the advicesisters.com beauty stories you know that if I do a mask (see advicesisters skincare mask stories), I would prefer to be all alone and have some time on my hands. Right now, that’s not an issue for most of us #socialdistancing.
Masks are an easy way to provide some pampering when salons are closed. Most of the masks are just a couple of dollars for a whole lot of pampering.

Four Of My Favorites:
In full disclosure, I only have so much skin and so much time to try everything. So I’ve picked out four of my favorites, but I encourage you to try them all:
Multi-Tasking Mask:
The nügg Aqua Boost Hydrating Gel Face and Sleep Mask that arrives in what looks like a squeeze juice package (bottom row middle). Inside is a nourishing and moisturizing face mask with camellia seed oil, rosehip oil and aloe juice.
You can use this as a sleep mask by adding just a thin layer to your skin. You can also use it on your hands. The squeeze pouch has enough for several treatments and closes up tight with a toothpaste-style cap. Apply just as much as you feel you need.
Pamper Eyes With Gold:
Another favorite for me now is the Gold Hydro Gel Eye Mask. After all, who is really getting a great nights’ sleep right now?
It arrives in a jar with an applicator in the lid and 30 pairs of masks. Key ingredients include gold, adenosine and snail extract (see snail-skincare centric stories). These patches soothe the delicate eye area and help erase puffiness and dark circles.
The shimmery gold under-eye patches don’t just look pretty, they do a good job.
Treat Your Feet:
It’s going to be sandals time soon and your favorite mani-pedi place probably will still be closed. DIY softer feet with The Masque Bar FeetTreet Pedi Intensive Moisturizing Foot Mask. I have included a photo since this one wasn’t in my group photo above.
Two pairs of sock-type masks can help your skin look smoother and soften calluses within two weeks. You need about half an hour, but since these are treatment socks you wear. Get serious hydration while you watch a movie, read a book, talk on the phone, or work at your computer (what I did).
Green Tea Masks For All!
