How do You Sample Great Skincare? Try These Clever Kits from Invity and Herbacin
Sample kits allow you to try products you might not want to splurge on in whole sizes. I also love these for travel. Most samples are TSA-friendly, too
What’s in the Invity Discovery Kit?
Invity claims clean beauty and wellness using cutting-edge and science-backed formulations. Their mission is to optimize aging and help everyone become their most youthful selves in every way. And their products are cruelty-free. and vegan.
The Discovery Kit is just ($55/$90 value). Another thing I really like about Invity is their videos that show what you are supposed to do with the products.
This is a big kit with lots of things to try. Here’s what you get:
Youth Activating Instant Filler (2 x 3 ml)
This was the first thing that caught my eye in the Discovery Kit because it is in syringes. When I read about the product, I realized that this reminded me of another instant filler I recently reviewed. Of course, it’s not the same. But this one provides a non-invasive cosmeceutical grade serum that instantly lifts the skin and significantly reduces the appearance of wrinkles. The advanced formulation delivers this filler-like effect with a scientifically proven combination of novel patented Hyaluronic Acid technology, NAD+, and collagen-boosting botanical extracts. A video shows you just where and how to use it. I love this because you need to do it properly to get the results you expect.
How to Use:
FYI: There is no needle in these syringes! For each syringe, dispense ⅓ of the product onto clean and dry hands. Then gently spread the product evenly across the face. Concentrate on areas such as the forehead, under the eyes, and marionette lines. Don’t move your face until the product is absorbed. This product reminds me of another that advicesisters.com recently reviewed. But of course, it’s not the same.
SuperNAD Youth Activating Facial Sheet Mask (2 sheets)
Invity calls this an “age-defying mask.” Invest 10-15 minutes and help your skin to repair itself. I can’t quantify how the actives are delivered into your skin. However, I can say that you’ll find it super hydrating. This makes is usually sold in packets of 5 for $55 so it’s a great way to try it out.
FYI: Invity says the mask activates up to 80% of your cellular energy. The key ingredients are Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD) and plant actives. These help to replenish, hydrate, calm, and illuminate your skin, by activating the skin’s natural cellular defense and energy system. *Found in all living cells, the primary role of NAD in the body is to transfer energy from one cell to another.
Youth Activating Cream Concentrate (5 x 3 ml)
This is a daily moisturizer that (supposedly) delivers skin-renewing benefits at a cellular level. It has been designed to strengthen, hydrate and nourish your skin while providing it with protection against glycation and environmental damage. The cream is definitely concentrated. It is almost solid, which makes it great for travel.
Invity says that you can expect a rejuvenated complexion with a healthy lit-from-within glow with continued use. I thought it was good, but you need to be patient with skincare. In fairness, I didn’t use it long enough to see big results but it made my skin look nice. You can use it daily, and day and night for the first week.
The Youth Activating Eye Serum (3 x 1 ml)
The three small packets of eye serum weren’t really enough for me to really judge how well it works over time. But it has some unique ingredients such as vegan bioidentical human elastin, Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD), and other botanical extracts. I did see less puffiness and fewer dark circles. Better still, the skin felt soft and nourished. As eye creams go, it’s good.

Herbacin Pamper Yourself Trio Kits:

Herbacin is one of those brands that I have always liked, a lot. Their tagline is “Beautiful skin is in our nature.” That rings quite true. And they have been creating botanically-based skincare products for over 100 years.
Advicesisters.com received two Herbacin Pamper Yourself Trio kits ($12.50) that showcase some Herbacin favorites. They’re nestled into zippered eco-friendly soft cardboard (re-useable) travel pouches). I’m not sure why I haven’t received this simple but excellent brand more often. The last time was hand creams, and it was a long time ago. Each of the kits has a shower gel, body lotion, and shampoo
Kits are Great for Self-care:
The green and blue decorated set is herbal and for normal skin and hair. It includes Herbacin Herbal Shower Gel Lemongrass + Ginger – 30 ml, Herbal Shampoo Volume – 30 ml, and Herbacin kamille Skin Firming Body Lotion – 20 ml Herbal Shower Gel, Skin Firming Body Lotion, and Herbal Shampoo Volume.
The Green Herbal Set:
The shampoo is a nurturing blend with schizandra extract and Vitamin E. This is great for damaged hair. I really like the skin-firming body lotion packed with Schisandra-extract, hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, panthenol, shea butter, almond oil, camomile, vitamin E and vegetable glycerin. *Schisandra-extract is believed to stimulate the body’s resistance to physical, environmental, and emotional stressors and therefore possibly is also a stress reliever.
The Red Herbal Set:
The red set has a lovely Herbal Shower Gel Dragon fruit + Passion fruit – 30 ml. There is also a Care Herbal Shampoo Care – 30 ml and the stellar Herbacin kamille Intensive Pflege Body Lotion – 20 mla. The shampoo is especially good for damaged hair with schizandra extract and Vitamin E. This set is good for everyone and it’s also very nurturing. These days I think I sound like a broken record, but the Herbacin products are also vegan, with no parabens, mineral oils, or synthetic colors. And they are dermatologically tested.
