I’m a big fan of Aveeno SPF products. but there’s one that helps deal with dark spots that I’m adding to this review. The Aveeno Positively Radiant Targeted Cream Dark Spot Corrector SPF 15 ($10) provides a minimal amount of sun protection but Aveeno claims it can reduce the look of dark spots in just a week.
Dark Spots are hard to eliminate, so I like that this multi-tasks to protect your skin with Broad Spectrum SPF 15 thanks to actives of 3% Avobenzone, 7.5% Octinoxate and 2% Octisalate. It also has Aveeno’s Total Soy Complex and light diffusers that make skin imperfections less noticeable.
Positively Radiant is a collection of skincare products that target “5 factors of radiance”: tone, texture, brown spots, blotchiness and dullness. If you aren’t going to be in the sun for a long time, this pleasant moisturizing cream that could reduce the look of dark spots, it’s a good choice.
Obviously, Aveeno has lots of sun protection products but this trio is being featured together to demonstrate that good quality, affordable sunscreens from Aveeno are available in a range of SPF levels for face, body, and sensitive skin.
Aveeno baby (purple cap) isn’t just or infants. It’s for anyone with sensitive skin. With broad spectrum SPF 50, and a sweat/water resistant formula up to 80 minutes, it’s a great choice for anyone who can’t or doesn’t want to use a chemical sunscreen.
The actives are 21.6% Zinc Oxide. The fragrance, paraben phthalate and dye-free formula may leave a bit of ashy residue on deeper skin tones but for all that it does to protect your skin, and for babies who should never be exposed to the sun for long, this is a great choice,

Elegant Anti-Aging Protection
Glytone Sunscreen Lotion SPF 40 g($38/ 4 oz.) gives you broad spectrum protection in a mineral/mix of 7.65% micronized Zinc Oxide, 7.5% Oxtinoxate, and 2% Octisalate. The product also features moisturizing anti-aging hyaluronic acid.
You can this Gyltone sunscreen on both face and body. In fact, it’s even gentle enough to use after you’ve had laser treatments or a chemical peel. I can’t praise this enough!

Eco-Friendly Mineral Protection
