The beautifully boxed set comes in a lilac box with gold embellishments that doesn’t need anything else to make it festive. Inside there is another, hard sided box with purple, pink and mint green lid decorated richly with gold embellishments. Open the lid and gasp! A quilted, mint green palette festooned with pearls and an interior mirror will hold one of four different palettes, each with a full sized blush, and four shadows in different perle, shimmer and matte formulas., You won’t find crazy colors in this set, they are all neutrals, lovely and wearable. The intensity is good, but not so overwhelming you feel like you have to tissue half of what you applied, right off. It’s amazing, but every single one of these palettes gives you a different look, and they’re all nice. Lift he ribbon under any one of these four palettes and pop it into the minty case, and you’re ready to take it on the road. My personal favorites are the mini sized deluxe Amazonian Clay blush in Thrilled — a universally flattering color that makes you look flushed in all the best ways, and the mini-sized primer and mascaras…hard to find and so welcome in your purse and on the road. You might just want to buy multiples and stockpile them, because travel sizes are so hard to find.
