Terranova Fragrances: Truth, Beauty & Tempting, TRUST ME!!!!

Terranova literally means “new earth” and since its inception 45 years ago the company has been committed to their mission of “Truth and Beauty” by creating products with fresh, clean fragrances and natural ingredients that celebrate our planet.  I wasn’t quite sure what kind of fragrances to expect? Patchouli?  Essence of festival femme?

But TRUST ME, the Terranova Cologne Mist, Shea Blossom, 1.65 Oz. $22.00 I tried, inspired by the bursting blooms of the sacred African Shea tree, was fresh and clean, a balanced blend of florals, citrus and a hint of spice. It wasn’t crunchy or cheap. In fact, these cost-conscious, eco-friendly fragrances are sophisticated enough for the likes of Sniffapalooza’s discerning members (see below).

To my nose, the scent was substantial enough to stick around for a while, but light and fruity enough to handle Summer’s heat and humidity.

As I perused the Terranova web site , I was happy to learn that the products are alcohol free, and they’re not tested on animals. I love the cheerful graphics, too. And there are a lot of different packages featuring everything from my favorite, rollerballs, to bath and body products in sets that you can bring to your favorite weekend host or hostess, or leave in your own guest bathroom to pamper visitors. The bath products have emollient shea butter, fabulous for sun-parched skin plus three other oils native to Africa: Argan, Marula and baobob. None of the products are terribly expensive, most hovering under $20.00. If you really love the fragrance of Shea Blossom (or any of the other Terranova fragrances) you can really get a huge gift set like this one being sold on amazon.com for just $52.00 with full sizes of Tereranova’s Tresses-to-Toes Remedy Cream, Body Wash & Perfume Essence.
