There are so many different skincare lines, but some are inspired by personal issues. One new skincare line I’ve recently tried is TEScosmetics, with Pure CBD Oil.
In 2010, Dr. Millie Hernandez was diagnosed with breast cancer. After undergoing treatment she decided to create an organic, all-natural, toxin-free skincare line.
Dr. Hernandez worked with a team of scientists to combine organic ingredients with the therapeutic properties of CBD oil and 8 years later, TEScosmetics was a reality.
CBD Oil is trending. It seems like it’s everywhere, and in virtually everything. The Advice Sisters have previously reviewed CBD products, but not all these are equal in efficiency or quality.
According to Dr. Hernandez: “The products we put directly on our skin should not only help us look better – they should help us feel better and healthier. They shouldn’t be filled with chemicals and fillers.”
What Is CBD?
CBD is made from Cannabidiol (CBD), the non-psychoactive ingredient in cannabis (derived from the stalk of the male marijuana plant). It doesn’t have the THC that gives people a “high.”
Therefore, the CBD is safe and legal in all 50 states and it is what’s used in skin care products like TES Cosmetics.
Although I’ve tried pain relief products and hair care with CBD I’m not completely sure that CBD does miraculous things for skin and hair. However, many people are turning to CBD products as a natural alternative.
The TESCosmetics Collection:
The TEScosmetics skincare line currently includes three products all featuring pure CBD oil and other natural and organic ingredients free of parabens. They’re gluten-free and there’s no animal testing.
The TEScosmetics CBD is sourced from Colorado. For those who need to know, this CBD oil is a full-spectrum, organic hemp-derived CBD oil rich with Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins D and E.
I tried all three of these products: scrub, moisturizer, and serum.
On a personal note, I have sensitive skin (the bain of a beauty editor) but none of these products irritated my skin or made me break out. That’s the first thumbs up for TEScosmetics.
The TES Cosmetics EveryFace Scrub with pure CBD oil is packed in a screw-top jar. The product was fairly “vigorous” with organic citrus oil and turbinado sugar plus raw manuka honey.
I was careful not to scrub too hard, but when I rinsed off the scrub I noticed that it had thoroughly cleansed my pores. Usually, my skin would be red and irritated, but it wasn’t, You just have to keep your scrubbing gentle if your skin is sensitive.
I used this as a lip scrub too and it was quite good. So again, thumbs up.
The EveryBody Cream moisturizer can be used on both your face and your body. It’s also packaged in an oxygen-free pump bottle.
Checking the box, I can see that there are hydrating ingredients including a lot of natural oils, herbal extracts, and peptides that smooth, tone and help keep your body feeling silky.
It didn’t make my face break out even though it has a lot of emollient ingredients.
I’m not quite sure what the CBD oil does when applied to your face and body, but the cream was lightweight and pleasant and absorbed quickly. The pump bottle also makes it great for travel.
Another thumbs up for TEScosmetics.
The TES Cosmetics Everyday Serum in an oxygen-free pump bottle was clear, lightweight and somewhat cooling with lots of nutrients including Argan Oil, aloe vera, cucumber and a bit of Vitamin C (no amounts are shown).
Of course, it also has CBD oil in it. I really liked this serum!
The Bottom Line:
The feature of these products is the ingredient CBD oil, along with natural and organic ingredients. I can’t opine on the efficacy of the products nor can I tell how much CBD oil is really in them.
However, for those who want natural and organic skincare or who want to try skincare products with CBD oil, TES Cosmetics provides it in simple, almost clinical looking, non-gender specific packaging.
The products seem to work well and they’re priced from $80-$85 each.
Three thumbs up! Learn more at TEScosmetics.com
