One of the delights of late Summer and early fall, is fresh, juicy, delicious, peaches. The velvety smell of peach is so intoxicating! And, when it comes to The Body Shop, it also means new, seasonal delights!
On September 24th, The Body Shop released a peach-centric collection called The Vineyard Peach Body Care Range. If you waved one of these products under my nose while my eyes were closed, I would swear I was smelling fresh-cut peaches.
What makes a peach so wonderful? Well first, the juicy, rich, intense fragrance that is an unmistakable peach. But peaches have a plushy outer skin that feels soft to the touch, and of course, they have a beautiful, peach color. The Body Shop takes all of these elements and delivers them in products that also deliver 24 hours of hydrating moisture, thanks to precious peach kernel oil.The Body Shop Vineyard Peach range contains nine different Community Fair Trade ingredients from all over the world. Although you probably already know (as an advicesisters.net fan –you do read our columns regularly don’t you?) that The Body Shop’s Community Fair Trade program, helps over 300,000 people and their communities every year.
The Vineyard Peach Collection includes:
- VINEYARD PEACH BODY BUTTER ($19) *The scent alone will make you moisturize more often! The body butter acts as a barrier that helps to seal in moisture. The ingredients play a part in protecting and preserving the forest as well as providing necessary income for the beekeepers, an increasing number of which are now women (nice to know!)

VINEYARD PEACH BODY SCRUB ($19) *This gently exfoliating body scrub sloughs off dead skin cells leaving skin softer and smoother with that amazing peach scent! The ingredients are a source of income for organic farmers in Brazil.
VINEYARD PEACH SHOWER GEL ($8) * This soap-free shower gel smells like freshly picked peaches and leaves skin feeling peachy-soft. Soap-free Lather-rich and of course, that juicy, yummy, peach scent.

- VINEYARD PEACH BODY LOTION ($12) * This silky moisturizer smells like freshly picked peaches and soaks in to leave skin feeling peachy-soft. It is lightweight and absorbs quickly.
I happen to have a jar of The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Scrub open in front of me as I’m typing this, and I can smell the peach clear across the desk. I wish there was a scented candle, or a home diffuser in this scent because it is truly unbelievable how authentic it smells, and how delicious. I don’t want this scent to ever go away, but, is is special edition.
Of course, that’s not all The Body Shop has to offer for Fall. Here are a few other note-able, fun, and worthy products to try before the frost is on the pumpkin:
The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser ($18) – contains Community Fair Trade organic tea tree oil and is clinically proven to reduce pore size, redefine the skin’s texture and mattify your skin from the very first use. No one wants big, ugly pores! The new Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser makes pores look smaller, thanks to an infusion of Community Fair Trade organic tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is known for being kind to oily skin, and this pore minimizer does just that: smoothing, priming, and mattifying. Use it on bare skin, or as a primer, under makeup.
The Body Shop All in One BB Cream ($20)— contains Community Fair Trade marula oil and is available in a variety of shades, this lightweight formula provides 24-hour hydration and color adapts for a perfect match and a smooth, undetectable finish. There are three shades for light, medium, and deeper skin tones. It seems that everyone these days is doing a BB Cream, but some do it better than others. BB creams are not tinted moisturizers or a foundation, but more like a hybrid beauty balm.
This one from The Body Shop transforms from a white cream to one of the three sheer to medium coverage tints, to best suit your skin tone. Pigment-filled capsules burst when applied to the skin, releasing the color. I didn’t love the slightly odd scent, but I did like the dewy finish and how it made my skin feel moist and pampered, Don’t let the white cream throw you-all you have to do is blend it in to get what appears to be a perfect match. The slim 0.84 oz. the tube is great for purses or travel, too.
Beauty Tip:
Warm up pale skin or add some color when using a sheer product like a BB Cream, with a great blush. Try the All-in-One Cheek Colour ($16.00) in one of 10 build-able tints. Extra-fine powder enables you to layer on more intensity or use a sheer and smooth wash of color. The silver compact with a clear top makes it look festive (and expensive). Good for your skin ingredients include Vitamin E and marula oil. If you are having a hard time choosing just one, try “Bubblegum,” a universally flattering, clear pink.

The Body Shop Foundation Limited Edition Dragon Fruit Lip Butter ($6) – moisturizes your lips while allowing you to support the charity of your choice (ALL PROFITS DONATED). I can’t tell you exactly what dragon fruit smells like, other than it smells like a fruit that is a bit tart and bright and tasty. But it is all scent, no taste. You also get a slight pearly sheen from this little pot of lip-loving goodness. It hydrates your lips, feels silky, and costs just a few dollars, and the eye-catching graphics make it fun to take out and use. Stock up now, for stocking stuffers, come the holidays and do something good for others, too.
