It’s a new year. If being healthier, feeling better, and looking good are high on your list of New Years Resolutions (see the 2023 story) you already know you need to move more. However, if you don’t have the right equipment and clothing to reach your goals, you may not accomplish them. And it doesn’t matter how chic your outfit is if your feet hurt. Pain shows! Choosing appropriate clothing and footwear like the ones from Therafit can not only help you to alleviate all sorts of foot issues and pain but make life easier and more comfortable overall.
That doesn’t mean your footwear has to look like grandma’s orthopedic shoes! Therafit has stylish boots, slippers, and shoes for everyday wear. These all have the same foot-loving benefits Therafit is known for. Before I go into the ankle boots and indoor/outdoor slippers I tested recently, here’s what makes Therafit Footwear unique:
What’s So Special About Therafit?
Built into each pair of Therafit footwear is their patented cutting-edge technology. Three long, plastic “plugs” (Therafit calls them “Personal Comfort Adapters”) on the outsole can be adjusted to allow an increase or decrease in impact resistance. These are specially designed dual-density adapters located within the shock-absorbing wedge that can be removed to change the shoe’s impact resistance and cushioning. Tired, aching feet? Remove one, two, or all three of the Personal Comfort Adapters to change the resistance. Ready for a different feeling on your feet the next day? Pop them back in and get going!
The bottoms of Therafit shoes have decorative designs that help with traction and prevent sliding.
The Inner Part of the Shoe:
The inner part of the shoe features an Aegis Microbe Shield. It protects against odor. It also protects against issues from fungus, bacteria, or other gross things you don’t want on your skin! The shoe design has a patented technology that uses multiple layers of cushioning and support with varying densities so the shock of each step is distributed downward and outward. The result is extremely comfortable shoes that cushion your foot on impact, helping to reduce the aches and pains that come with even the most mundane, daily activities. As someone who suffers from a lack of padding on the bottom of my feet, this makes the Therafit shoe a godsend.
You would never guess that these “Nadia” shoe boots ($149.95) were made for anything other than style, but they have the same comfort features as all the other Therafit shoes. Note the three dots on the side of the shoe in the first photo. Those are the adjustable points (personal comfort adapters) on the outsole. In the next photo, you can easily see the anti-slip sole with the Therafit logo.
You can’t see are the soft cushioning, arch supports, and other comfort-oriented -design features inside the boot. For an even more personalized fit, Therafit offers you 3 removable PCS dual-density comfort adapters in the midsole wedge. You also get removable cushioned insoles featuring gel inserts for added protection. Therefore, when you put the boots on, however, you can feel them! You just want to go out and walk!
The shoe bootie comes in grey or brown “pleather” to faux black suede in sizes 37-41.
Sinfully Comfortable Slippers:
Some days when I’m home all day I just want to slip my feet into well…slippers! But then I remember I have to dump the trash, or pick up the mail or walk somewhere where I wouldn’t normally wear a soft-soled slipper. Therafit has a new bunch of indoor/outdoor slippers that have the same features and non-slip soles as their shoes and boots.
I chose these adorable Stefani Women’s Indoor/Outdoor Wool Clog Slippers ($139.95) with embroidered stars. This particular style also comes in four prints/colors as well as black, but with different prints. Wearing a warm slip-on clog when your feet hit the cold floor in the morning, is a welcome comfort. As I said previously, I don’t even want to take them off all day (and sometimes, I don’t). The elastic on the side, arch support, and cushioning in the heels make for happy feet. These also have personal comfort adapters, and a removable insole.
