I recently checked out a line of unique skincare products called Theraplex for dry and sensitive skin. There’s a lot beneath the simple packaging “under the hood.”
Each of these products addresses the needs of very dry skin. My experience with very dry skin products in the past hasn’t always been so positive, because while they’re emollient, they can also be greasy or leave an icky, sticky feel on your skin.
Theraplex products, don’t! They have a pharmaceutical grade, unique petrolatum that protects the skin’s barrier combined with an activated hydrosilicone delivery system.

There are places on your body that just won’t get relief from a basic mositurizer. Oil moisturizers are trendy and effective. The Theraplex® ClearLotion Moisturizer is a lightweight, fast penetrating emollient oil moisturizer that makes skin feel amazingly soft if you use it on damp skin right after showering or bathing. Many of these types of products get sticky or won’t absorb in time for you to get dressed in a flash, but this one has a special petrolatum and natural jojoba oil that really absorbs in less than a minute.
Theraplex also offers two gentle facial cleansers: The one I liked is the Theraplex® Gentle Cleanser. In my tests it effectively and gently removed all dirt, oil and makeup except for the most stubborn long wear lipstick. it has essential oils of rose hip seeds and exotic loquats with the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of seaweed. Although the packaging is simple, the cleanser feels very luxurious.
There is also the soapless Theraplex® Clean ‘N Treat Cleanser featuring the exfoliating benefits of glycolic, lactic and salicylic acids. If you have sensitive skin you can still use this cleanser without fear of irritation.

The Bottom Line:
Some products don’t seem very glamorous, and then you try them and you wonder how you ever lived without them. Theraplex is one of those brands. Simply put, it’s great, affordable skincare for everyone, and especially for those with dry and/or sensitive skin!
