This feature is about HempBeautyPro, a skincare line with a larger than usual amount of CBD in it. You can’t go anywhere without seeing “CBD.” It’s in everything from Gummies to Pet Products these days. Truly, CBD is trending.
What is CBD (quick explanation):
For those who really don’t know what CBD is, CBD is hemp but CBD is made from Cannabidiol (CBD), the non-psychoactive ingredient in cannabis.
It is derived from the stalk of the male marijuana plant but CBD doesn’t have any THC (the ingredient that gives you the “high”).

Is it the CBD or Something Else?
Some purveyors of CBD claim that it doesn’t just reduce pain, but could also provide all sorts of health benefits from reducing pain to helping with mental disorders to curing diseases. However, when it comes to cosmetics and skincare, it might not be just the CBD or in the amounts necessary to make a successful product.
In fact, Most skincare products only have a little bit of CBD in them.
HempBeauty has tinctures, gummies and other CBD-related products, but this story is about their skincare collection.
HempBeautyPro products are made with 99% pure organic hemp-derived CBD. But what makes them more unusual than most, is that there is more than the usual amount of CBD in these products.
The line includes Glow-Up Face Serum, Revive + Rewind Eye Cream, Bright Day Face Cream, Detox + Renew Night Mas, Beauty Rest NIght Elixir and Wake-up Face Mist.
I was sent three of these products to review: Glow-Up Face Serum, Revive + Rewind Eye Cream, and Detox + Renew Night Mask.
The Glow Up Face Serum ($48/ 1 fl. oz.) :
This rich serum arrives in attractive packaging with a dropper tip. Key ingredients include Retinol and Vitamin C, which IMHO really are the powerhouses that drive this serum.
But there is also 150 mg of CBD oil. The trio provides anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and collagen-boosting benefits. Other ingredients include Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Carrot Seed Oil, Vitamin E and Rosemary.
The serum is liquid, but use just a small amount because it can feel rather viscous and sticky if you overdo. Honestly, I didn’t like the texture, but however, used over time, this serum could really help you restore your glow!
The instructions say to cleanse before using this.
INGREDIENTS: 150 MG Hemp-Derived CBD, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil, L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinol, Rosmarinus (Rosemary) officinalis.
Revive + Rewind Eye Cream ($38 .5 fl. oz.)
This new skincare product from HempBeauty was just launched in October 22018. It has 100 MG Hemp-Derived CBD,
However, it also has cucumber and caffeine. Both are known to help tighten and de-puff while helping the delicate skin under your eyes to renew itself.
Apply pea-size amount in small dots from the inner corner underneath the eye to brow bone. Use a light patting motion to gently press the product into the eye area.
I have sensitive skin so I’m always careful what I put around my eyes, but this Eye Cream was soothing and non-irritating.
HempBeauty Detox + Renew Night Mask ($40 1.7 fl. oz):
I’m not a fan of facial masks but in the HempBeauty collection from the items I tried, this one is my favorite product.
This night mask is lightweight and fragrance-free. Key ingredients include antioxidants such as acai berry which is packed with vitamins A, B, C and E to help prevent wrinkles, fine lines and help renew skin.
Passion fruit helps protect against environmental stressors and pollutants and dark spots.
This product also has 100 mg of CBD, but again, it’s probably the acai berry and passion fruit that keep your skin looking its best.
Use this mask for cleansing and on a dry clean face. Apply it and leave it on for 6 minutes, then wipe away the excess.
However, I found that the mask absorbed so quickly I didn’t have much to wipe away. Loved this!
I really liked this simple and quick mask. You’ll like the way your skin feels, soft, and renewed.
HempBeauty, The Bottom Line:
I want to believe that CBD is everything people are claiming it to be. However, truthfully I am still not sure. I liked the products including the fact that they are natural and have proven skin-loving ingredients. HEMP HempBeauty is also cruelty-free, vegan, and non-GMO.
That is reason enough to buy and try HempBeauty. Even though there is a generous amount of CBD, I still think it’s the other ingredients in concert with the CBD and not necessarily just the CBD< that really make these stellar products.
