Memories are made every single day of Fashion Week. We aren’t done yet–two more days to go. But here, so far, are a few highlights that I’m really glad I didn’t miss:

My favorite part of fashion week is going backstage to see a designer’s vision come to life, literally, from head to toe. Here is the face chart for designer IRINA SHABAYEVA and the lovely result, after makeup has been applied!
Couture Fashion Week brings “a date with fashion” to those who might not get into the Bryant Park tents, but who love fashion, and want to experience the glamour and creativity of good designers in a fashion week setting. These shows feature designers from around the world, live entertainment, and a showcase of art and luxury products and services. This season, drinks weren’t just on the house…Couture Fashion Week helped support relief efforts in Haiti with the proceeds!
Editor Grace Coddinton was the inspiration for this gorgeous hair at Alexander Berardi. Will you be running to the salon for the look?
I love these gold stiletto boots, worn by a courageous fashionista at Alexander Berardi’s runway show, but during a snowstorm????
