I’ve recently been introduced to Vavica Unico products. It’s a plant-based body care brand. These skincare products are for all skin types. Latina sisters Valentina, Victoria, and Camila created Vavica because they couldn’t find body care products for their different skin types. Their goal is (well, I’ll just quote)” to create a safe space in the beauty that allows people to be their authentic selves and celebrate their heritage” According to the press information, they even wanted to include in their line braille on all products for the visually impaired. Now that’s thinking about inclusive.
Three Products for a Beautiful Body:
Unico means “only” in Spanish and at present there are only three Vavica Unico products: A ÚNICO BODY OIL SPRAY ($27), ÚNICO HAND + BODY LOTION ($27); and a ÚNICO HAND + BODY WASH ($25)/ The packaging is non-gender specific in black with White lettering. The inside bottles and tubes are also black with White lettering.
I love the black-and white packaging and my black-and-white cat, Carl, agrees!
The ÚNICO BODY OIL SPRAY:
Dry oils are all the rage. But what I like so much about this one is that it soaks in quickly, banishing dry skin like magic. The herbal-scented hydrating body oil spray has three key ingredients to make your skin glowing: Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and moisturize. Glycerin locks in moisture and helps to strengthen the skin barrier. And, antioxidant Kakadu Plum extract nourishes the skin and enhances skin radiance.
UNICO HAND + BODY LOTION:
This is a medium-weight product particularly good for arms, legs, and hands. Massage the slightly earthy scent of the lotion into your skin and you can feel the difference, immediately. The 6 fl. oz. flip top tube won’t pass the TSA inspection, but it’s fine in your checked bag. Bring it along to soothe and smooth your body with key ingredients: • Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin, plus Rosehip Oil and Shea Butter to nourish and smooth while adding more moisturization. For people who swear they’d never use a body lotion or a hand lotion, one squish of the tube and they’ll be hooked.
ÚNICO HAND + BODY WASH:
I love cleansers in plastic pump bottles, and this one is no exception. As you lather it up, you’ll smell an earthiness that feels comforting. Key Ingredients include Sodium PCA: amino acid derivative (helps to hydrate skin). Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid do the heavy lifting when it comes to soothing, soothing, and moisturizing. Antioxidant Kelp Extract is a boon to dry and dull skin. All together, it’s a great body and hand wash.
Vavica Unico products are vegan and cruelty-free. These are the products I’d take to “share” on vacation or buy as a shower gift to share on their honeymoon or any favorite person or couple. They are also products I’m using because I think they’re great!
