You can’t go two feet without bumping into a brand proclaiming that they are all about clean, vegan, sustainable conscious beauty. Like so many brands, WLDKAT skincare proudly has a long list of “have nots.” They claim that their formulas free of over 2700 questionable ingredients. That captured my attention.
However, they also have a long list of what’s in the products and what those ingredients do. These skincare products are also vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainable. That sounds great, so I checked out a neat travel bag filled with skincare called “The Wldkat Skincare Mini Stash Kit ($39/ $56 value).
What’s In the Bag?
Obviously, you can purchase these clean beauty skincare products separately However, the Mini Stash Kit gives you a chance to try five rather unique products to see if you really like them. Therefore, these nicely sized minis make a lot of sense. For those who need to know, the packaging is eco-friendly too.
In my photo above from the top, clockwise are the minis of Wldkat’s Coconut Water+ Noni Fruit Electrolyte Spray, Mushroom + Moss Gel Cream, Cupuacu Mango Butter Lip Balm in O.G., Balanced Patchouli Cherimoya Gel Cleanser, and Ginger Kombucha Bubbling Skin Tonic.
Next, I was instructed to put a dime-sized amount of Ginger + Kombucha Bubbling Skin Tonic into my palm. You press it into your face or pour it onto a cotton pad and sweep it across the face and neck. The tonic bubbles on your skin but it’s surprising and pleasant and goes away quickly. Ginger Root extract has, according to WldKat Skincare, more than 40 antioxidant properties. and it has antiseptic qualities that fight bacteria, keeping acne at bay. The Kombucha helps strengthen skin and protect against environmental saboteurs.
After the tonic, I spritzed on the Coconut Water + Noni Fruit Electrolyte spray. I sprayed it liberally as directed, but honestly, I feel that it was too much and it left a bit of residue. When you’re adding more products afterward including SPF and/or foundation, I think it’s a step that could be avoided. However, it would be nice, and hydrating, on a long trip.
For lips, there are lip balms in slanted tip tubes. The moisturizing Cupuacu + and protective Mango Butter lip balm in O.G. is clear. Another choice is (“Headband ” Ph color). It’s silky and smooth. At $16 for a clear gloss, you might think twice, but it’s really hydrating. If your lips are dry, it’s a great choice.
