The World Is Round & All Around Us!
There is so much more to see in the world. But mostly when you take photos or videos with your still or video camera they are not showing you everything around the main subject,
The Wunder360 C1 360-Degree Camera by Shenzen Evomotion opens your world vision with 360 video.
The Advice Sisters tested one of these “little WUNders” (pun intended).
Economical 360 Video
Did you ever want to shoot a 360 video, but you just didn’t know how and it was too costly?
Not anymore! The Wunder 360 C1 is possibly the easiest way to get the shots you want, and for under $160.
Not only is it fairly easy to use and incredibly compact, the Wunder 360 C1 is a consumer-friendly camera. We played around with it for a while to get the hang of it, but once you do, the world opens up, literally.
Smart Object Tracking:
Smart object tracking technology keeps your main interest in the center of the frame. The image is stabilized so it’s not jumpy. I
You really don’t need to move the camera, you can do what you want through a free appp for IOS or Android.
When we review tech for our readers, we understand that not everyone is a tech geek. Honestly, even we had a bit of a learning curve trying to use the Wunder 360 C1 camera.
The camera is from China and the instructions are fairly good, but when we first started using the camera we had some issues with connectivity. It took us a while to figure out how to use all the bells and whistles.
Our first videos weren’t very flattering but we know it gets better as you figure out the instructions and get busy learning the camera and the app.
Then it is easy to make 360-degree videos with live-streaming compatible and upload them easily to social networks including Facebook and YouTube.
The LED mode window is tiny. I had some issues seeing what was in it. The window indicates either the remaining shots or videos un time. The actual photos and videos you’ve made are accessed from the app on your phone.
The Advice Sisters Tech editor, Tony Sabatini reviewed this camera in depth. His review is below:
Tony’s Sabatini’s Review:
I liked the idea of this camera and a nice feature is a little display on the front which actually indicates what state and mode the camera is in (e.g. whether it is in USB mode or WiFi connect- this is not a Bluetooth device).
Note that when using Wifi you connect to the camera as if it were your wifi provider so until you are done with the camera you cannot do other things over wifi on the phone. Once you make sure the unit is in WiFi you turn it off and download and activate the Android or IOS app.
The app will then direct you to push and hold the power button for 6 seconds or more and a green light will start blinking rapidly in the app hit the wifi settings button.
The first secret is its name is the name of the Wifi Module which is PANO and a device number (it’s not Wunder, which you might think is reasonable). Switch back to the app, hit connect and you’re online with the camera.
The stitching together of the images between the front and back cameras appears to be flawless and you can do a complete 360 around the camera with the picture that it has taken.
Since it is a 180-degree image by definition it is a fisheye lens. The further you get away from the center line the more distorted the image is going to be.
Unless you are into funhouse effects, you should keep faces on the same plane as the camera.
The unit uses standard Micro SD card you supply. It comes with a tripod mount and comes with a small tabletop but you might be better off with something that has more weight to it if you want to mount it on a tripod.
- 4K high definition image capturing
- • 60fps high-speed action video recording
- • 7-element lens
- • ergonomic design for long-lasting single-hand-held shooting
- • on-device screen for true stand-alone experience
Obviously, we understand the fun factor, but on a professional basis, this is a fabulous real estate photographing camera for upload to the internet.
Put it in the middle of a room, stand out of sight, and trigger the 360 photo or video with your phone.
