Makeup artist Tina Turnbow is a Fashion Week veteran who knows how to create amazing looks from mild, to seriously WILD! As you can see from the photo, the focus is all on eyes (is that a new trend? I think maybe) with no blush or foundation, and light lips. On the other hand, if the lip is bold for Spring 2013 the eyes take a back seat.
Could you rock this look? The advice sisters love NYX cosmetics, and they are very affordable while being high performance. Tina says you can use chocolate brown to compliment your skin tone, if you wish. But watching her paint on these wild lines, I’d say: “practice, practice practice!” and then walk with confidence!
At Erickson Beamon, Tina worked with NYX Cosmetics (black and white eye pencils) to create a haunting eye look that you can do at home, if you practice. Tina swiped the color on eyes directly, but then like the artist she is, “painted” the extended and blended lines. “I’m loving these Jumbo Eye Pencils by NYX,” said Tina as she worked on a model. “I did a show with them last season, at Imitation, and I fell in love with them. And I’ve been using them ever since!” she added.
