Kate Somerville’s DermalQuench Liquid Lift Advanced Wrinkle Treatment
Kate Somerville isn’t jsut your local, licensed aesthetician. She treats glitterati and celebrities in her LA Medi-spa who demand, expect and get,the very best treatments money can buy. One of her very popular in-spa treatments is the Kate Somerville “DermalQuench Oxygen Treatment” – a facial charged with oxygen and hyaluronic to make dry and perhaps, mature skin, look alive again.
As someone who lives clear across the Country from California, I’m not likely to get to Los Angeles any time soon, and maybe you aren’t, either. But we can still get Kate’s anti aging, high tech treatment, in a can for use at home. Theis amazing, at-home miracle is dispensed from a slim, matte grey can with a long, white tube protruding from the top. Push down on the button at the top, and that tube sprays (with some force) foamy concotion that disperses into the skin with a quick massage, delightfully fresh and herbal. The patent-pending delivery system produces immediate and (hopefully) long-term results for your skin.
I was a bit surprised when I pressed the button and a lightweight foam shot out of the nozzle, with some force at my face. I expected the foam, but as the foam clung to my face in three strips on each side, it felt a bit wierd. But, as directed, I smoothed it in and it disappeared, making my skin feel really hydrated and immediately rejuvenated.
What DermalQuench actually does, is infuse skin with 3 powerful ingredients in the advanced HydraFill Complex:
Wrinkle-relaxing PFC-Oxygen Carriers draw and lock in oxygen with an oxygen magnet that relaxes facial muscles to dramatically smooth and soften. According to independent clinical tests, after just 2 weeks, 83% of women reported that their lines appeared dramatically smoother and softer.
Deeply hydrating Hyaluronic Acid quickly penetrates skin to provide long-lasting moisture, while it improves the look of elasticity, firmness, and texture. *again, independent clinical tests claim that after just 1 use, clinical instruments measured up to a 130% increase in skin moisture.
and; Radiance-boosting Botanical Extracts create an instant glow *after just two weeks, 90% of women reported an improvement in their skin’s appearance overall.*
All this sounds pretty amazing, but, like every product however plebeian or pricey, it has to be the right thing for your skin, applied correctly, and regularly, according to instructions (the first of which, repeated several times on Kate’s website, is never to spray formula near your eyes or lips). To target the delicate eye area, you are to spray the product on the cheekbonse, as directed, and then gently sweep the formula upward (carefully avoiding direct contact with the eyes) and massage in thoroughly. To target the lips, you are supposed to spray the formula on your chin and gently sweep the formula around the mouth (carefully avoiding direct contact with the lips) and massage in thoroughly.
You do this for your face twice a day, pressing the “actuator button” (white spray top). A burst of foamy product will shoot out as I mentioned earlier, so apply 2 to 3 stripes on the right side of the face (cheekbone, mouth to ear, and jaw line) and immediately massage into your skin. Repeat the process on the other side of your face and immediately massage it in. Then, dispense 1 stripe across the forehead and massage in.
I have very sensitive skin (a true liability for a beauty reviewer) but while the directions caution that the ingredients might cause your skin to tingle and flush for a short while, and might irritate some sensitive skin types, it didn’t bother me. A few minutes after applying the product to my own skin, I felt it tightening. It was a bit unexpected, but not unpleasant.
In all honesty, I couldn’t use this day and night for four weeks to see fantastic results, but I immediately liked the way my skin felt. If there is a downside, it’s that a 2.5 fl. oz. can that requires a minimum of 5 sprays each time (or more) it isn’t going to last so long, making it pricey at $95.00 per can. But, a bunch of Kate’s high tech facials would cost a lot more than this. Besides, good skin, is priceless. I love the silver and white outer carton, and the sleek, almost clinical look of the can. I think even men would like this treatment, given the promised results…and a lot of those who did use this product for a longer time, want nuts over it. This, I believe. If you can afford a treat and a treatment in your skincare budget, this product is a stand-out you’ll want to try. It would also make a pampering, luxe holiday gift for a skincare fanatic, too.
