Let me get right to the point: The Advice Sisters eyes are on the innovative, multi-tasking, anti-aging products of Innovative Technology Cosmetics (IT Cosmetics) . The use of the word “eyes” is deliberate, because IT Cosmetics is a high end line of multi-tasking, anti-aging products created by Jamie Kern Lima, who has many celebrity fans. She was competitor in Miss USA and worked as a news anchor on TV, where I guess she had to apply her own makeup. She also worked on the television show Baywatch.
The particular product I’m focusing on in this feature is a very impressive, luxe, Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Palette called “Naturally Pretty.” The $38.00 palette is packed with high performance skin care including 12 eye shadows with intense color arranged in three rows from light to medium to dark, in matte and in shimmer formulas. You can wear them dry or wet for metallic intensity, and they’re also waterproof . Back the the palette, let me say that while the colors are not over-the-top-trendy, They’re universally flattering. The top row features four highlight or base shadows in ivories and peachy nude. More specifically, the colors on the top row feature “Heavenly” and “Cashmere ”(mattes white and cream,) and two shimmery tones called: “Satin Sunshine” and “Je Ne Sais Quois”). The first is a pale yellow, the other, a soft pink-ish nude. All are blend-able and soft on the skin.
The second row are the lid colors, and all but one (“Earth Angel,” a matte flesh tone) are shimmery. The other three are bronze (“Ipanema); a soft mauve (“Romance) and a showy copper (“Venus Love”).
The last row features all matte shadows that are accents or great for liners: “Azure” (deep blue); “Plum Passion” (bright clear purple); “Espresso (medium brown) and “Jet Black” (black) . All will make a modern, smoky eye as well.
But pretty colors are not the only reason to buy this Anti-Aging Eye Shadow Palette. Inside the “naturally pretty” rounds of shadow are anti-aging and hydrating ingredients that not only give you color that lasts all day, but also talc-free shadows with a lot of hydrating and skin loving ingredients. To be more specific, each ultra luxe shadow is infused with an ultra-hydrating age reverse and preventative complex including hydrolyzed collagen, green tea, acai and Vitamins A, C & E. But the products do NOT have talc, paraben, sulfate, mineral oil, petrolatum, synthetic fragrance, or phthalates, and they’re also hypo-allergenic and non-comedogenic with no animal testing.
If you travel, you’ll definitely appreciate the packaging: the large, square, shiny black “pleather” coated top is slightly padded. Inside there’s a big mirror and a dual-ended applicator brush that is mini-sized, but large enough to be quite use-able. One side of the brush has a softly angled powder brush, while the other sports a flat liner brush. With this set you get a dozen gorgeous colors, plus the TLC your eyes need, and deserve. It’s amazingly great for travel, too.
New For Fall! Enhance your look a bit more with an IT Cosmetics No-Tug Silk Anti-Aging Waterproof Eye liners launching this FALL (at ITcosmetics.com, QVC, and QVC.com). The soft pencil liners arrive nicely boxed, with their own sharpener. The pencil liners glide on as advertised (like silk) without any pulling or tugging. That area of your eye really doesn’t need to be mauled by rock hard pencils that you can’t even blend.
These pencils are made with hydrolized silk, collagen and anti-oxidants. What I love about them is that if you’re like me, and have a hand that shakes and produces imprecise lines, you still have 1-2 minutes to correct a wobbly line by smudging it, smoking it out, or blending into lids as a soft shadow. In fact, the idea is that you can “play” with these pencils, almost like a styling wax for hair! But once the pencil sets, it’s there until you remove it with makeup remover or cleanser. I tried to rub the color off my hand, and it wouldn’t budge no matter how hard I rubbed! The black pencil barrels with white lettering and black tops are color-coded at the bottom, so you will know what color you are using, even before you pull off the cap. The pencils are also non-comedogenic, hypo-allergenic, paraben-free, and fragrance-free, so even if you wear contact lenses or you have sensitive eyes, you can enjoy these. The color selections are just Golden Bronze, Plum, brown or black. Personally, I like the deep plum, because that color is an “IT” color for Fall (pun intended).

One more thing: there is a really fabulous, multi-tasking, IT Cosmetics No Tug Eyeshadow Brush ($24.00) that really helps keep the powder on the brush (not all over your face). Soft shadows that tend to disperse a lot of color, but not necessarily where you want that color to be, is coralled on the `00% cruelty-free bristles, offering a more even application without tugging or flaking. Of course, the brush will also work with your other powder shadows and help them perform even better, as well. One end of the brush (with rubberized middle to ensure a secure grip), has a super-soft, well rounded shadow brush for lid color and blending, the other side is a plump but smaller and thinner brush for highlight or definition.
