ZeroWater claims that conventional filtered water still has some TDS (total dissolved solids) such as salt, metals and other elements because they don’t use a five-step filter, and while not all TDS are bad (some are from natural deposits), others are from man-made sources like old piping, road salts, leaves, etc. You can’t see them but you can taste them.
All you have to do to transform your water into ZERO Water is install the filter and fill the pitcher with the water from your tap. The ZeroWater’s patented ion exchange filter clears the water as it slowly filter through 5 different stages.
The Filter:
You can’t see the filter layers as they’re enclosed in plastic. The first filter near the top removes fine particles and sediment.

The only issue I have with the Zero Water Pitcher is the weigh of the pitcher because the filters are heavy.
While it doesn’t take up any more room than any other pitcher of the same size, once it’s filled with water and the filter is in place, it’s pretty heavy to lift.
However, the convenience of always having great water to drink, and to cook with (coffee and tea taste so much better).
You might find that everyone wants the Zero Water more than bottles and canned items.
Important Tip: be sure that the filter is twisted in tightly to the bottom of the reservoir insert with the attached rubber O-ring in place, or unfiltered water may flow around the filter and into the dispenser.
