They have a beautifully balanced sound that makes you feel as though the music is surrounding you. That’s thrilling. They are really really excellent in terms of sound quality. But there’s more to these unassuming headphones that meet the eye.

First, the noise cancellation. It is seriously good. There were workmen literally banging on my metal balcony doors with a hammer, and the ZVOX headphones in a noise-canceling mode made it not just bearable, but almost blissful. Ditto for the howling old beagle above me that has separation anxiety. I can only imagine how great they’ll be next time I travel, too. The ear cups are well padded for comfort, so you can wear them for hours without feeling the “pinch” on your ears.

The ZVOX AV50 headphones are so comfortable I can wear them all-day for zoom and phone calls.
But the “star” is the ZVOX AccuVoice technology. Anyone who has trouble hearing voices over noise will feel empowered by these headphones that let you hear voices clearly even over ambient noise. Now that so many people are at home and using video conferencing, the ZVOX AccuVoice technology helps to boost voice clarity while they reduce unwanted noise.
The kids can be yelling or someone else can be on the phone in the same room (as my husband is right now “yelling” into his cell phone). You’ll still be able to hear your call or conference without having to crank up the volume to detrimental levels.
You can connect AV50s using the supplied cord, or connect to your phone, tablet, or laptop computer using aptX Bluetooth technology. With an optional Bluetooth transmitting device, you can also connect to your TV.

The foldable (yes, that too)! headphones come in a slim, lightweight clamshell-style zippered carry case. You’ll get instructions, a micro-USB charging cord, and a wired cord. The pairing process was a breeze. A microphone in the right ear cup that allows you to make hands free phone calls with your cell phone. Hear your phone or video chat, but not the noise clutter around you.
